Prior to Certification: Why Do You Want To Become a C.U.D.I.T.® Concentric Hitting Coach?

Coach Dave: "I am interested in becoming a CUDIT Certified Hitting Coach for the benefits of my daughter and her team. One year ago, I had tried a local facility with hitting for my daughter but I felt they were just doing front toss for an hour with very limited instruction. When her hitting started to suffer, I knew it was time for me to work with her.

In the effort to always get better as a coach I am constantly searching for things that will help to make the players better. The last 5-6 months, I have most likely watched every one of your videos. Recently we actually had Alex Powers give the Storm team a hitting camp at our practice field. Then to see her at your grand opening was neat to see.
 

Since I can't bring my daughter and her team to your facility, I want to bring them the next best thing. Bringing your system to them by getting CUDIT Certified myself.

In the video of you talking about the different types of private instructors, I found myself most closely resembling your style. I greet the players with a smile and excitement. I mention a phrase or gesture to make them laugh or relate to them. I get them pumped and excited before the instruction even begins. I talk to them about the mental approach to give them a little break from various drills. There is no wasted time at practices."

Coach Dave: "I am glad to be aboard!  I look forward to continuing the learning process and incorporating new ideas into my coaching.  In just the limited amount of time using the CUDIT System, my daughter( 13yrs ) has had compliments from college coaches about her hitting mechanics and power!  I have coached baseball for 14yrs followed by 9yrs of softball."
